Il progetto europeo Jean Monnet, Citizens in action coinvolge il Liceo Artistico Mannucci come scuola capofila e altri 4 partner europei:

-il Liceo Vittoria Colonna di Roma,

-la scuola superiore greca Kostantina Manesis di Irakleio, Atene,

-la scuola media rumena Scoala Gimnaziala n.1 di Micesti,

-la scuola superiore lettone Rigas State Gymnazium n.3 di Riga.

Il progetto ha una durata di 3 anni scolastici, l’obiettivo è quello di rafforzare il senso di appartenenza alla comunità europea e diventare cittadini attivi tramite numerose attività svolte in collaborazione tra partner.

-Formazione a studenti e insegnanti sulla storia dell’Europa, sulle istituzioni europee e sui temi di tutela del paesaggio e uguaglianza di genere.

-Creazione del testo “Give citizens a voice” intervistando i cittadini di ciascun paese per ascoltare le esigenze delle persone in rapporto alle istituzioni europee.

-Viaggio a Bruxelles nella sede del Parlamento europeo per presentare il testo ‘Give citizens a voice’, ricevere risposte e partecipare alla cerimonia di rinascita alla cittadinanza europea.

-Attività di disseminazione dell’esperienza vissuta e delle conoscenze acquisite tramite eventi organizzati nel territorio.

The European project Jean-Monnet, Citizens in action involves Liceo Artistico Mannucci as the coordinator and other 4 European partners :

- Liceo Vittoria Colonna from Rome, Italy;
- Kostantina Manesis high school from Irakleio, Athens, Greece;
- Scoala Gimnaziala n.1 from Micesti, Romania;
- Rigas State Gymnazium n.3 from Rigas, Latvia.

The project lasts 3 school years, the objective is to strengthen the sense of belonging to the European Community and to become active citizens through various activities in the spirit of collaboration among partners :

-Formation for students and teachers about the history of Europe, European institutions and the issues of landscape protection and gender equality.
-Work on the text ‘Give citizens a voice’, through interviews to citizens from each country to gather the needs of people towards European institutions.
-Travel to Brussels to the seats of European instututions to present the text ‘Give citizens a voice’ get answers and take part to the rebirth to European citizenship ceremony.
-Activities of dissemination of the experience in Brussels and the knowledge acquired through the organisation of events in the territory.
